Stone Gables was originally built as The Sarah Bousefield House in 1883. It was built as a side by side double. The bed and breakfast occupies a portion of this magnificent mansion. Immediately upon entering the bed and breakfast you sense the grandeur of this exquisite home. The 12 foot ceilings, many fireplaces and an abundance of antiques mixed with modern comforts create the feel of a bygone era. Most of the original wood work and plaster trim has been restored. It took four years of painstaking work to restore this fine home to its current condition.
