About

Jeff & Connie welcome you to Stone Gables!

The mansion was originally built as The Sarah Bousefield House in 1883. It was built as a side by side double. The bed and breakfast occupies a portion of this magnificent mansion. Immediately upon entering the bed and breakfast you sense the grandeur of this exquisite home. The 12 foot ceilings, many fireplaces and an abundance of antiques mixed with modern comforts create the feel of a bygone era.  Most of the original wood work and plaster trim has been restored. It took four years of painstaking work to restore this fine home to its current condition.

Jeff and Connie bought Stone Gables in July 2017. Their original introduction to the house was as guests. They stayed at the house several times while renovating a nearby duplex. Over time they fell in love with the house and when it came up for sale in 2017 they decided to buy. They are excited to add there own touches to this magnificent home.

Jeff is a native of the Cleveland area, but lived on the East Coast for 30 years, most recently in Washington, DC where he and Connie met. This is homecoming for Jeff who still passionately follows the local sports teams. Connie is trying hard to embrace Cleveland winters. She is at heart a Southern Girl, which quickly comes through in her warm hospitality.
